The Tradition First Foundation is an organization focused on equipping believers with the tools and knowledge necessary to defend their Christian Faith. According to the Barna Group, roughly 70% of high school students who enter college as professing Christians, will leave with little to no faith. These students usually don’t return to faith, even after graduation. We want our youth and future members of society to continue to thrive in their faith beyond their college years, so they can do the will of the Father and fulfill the Great Commission. In Matthew 28:19-20, Jesus tells us to: ”...go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.” This podcast highlights the testimonies of believers from all walks of life and showcases how God can work through the impossible for the good of those who love Him. We will also discover the apologetic pain point of our guest’s testimony and grow in our knowledge of Apologetics. God’s word tells us: ”If any of you lack wisdom, let him ask God, who gives generously to all without reproach, and it will be given to him.” (James1:5) We hope that the wisdom gleaned from the testimonies of our guests is the wisdom you need to grow stronger in your faith and defend it confidently. ABOUT THE HOST: K’Dia Brooks is the host of The Tradition First Podcast. K’Dia is passionate about the study of Apologetics and founded the Tradition First Foundation with hopes of addressing a crisis in the Christian church: 70% of our Christian high school students are leaving the faith upon entering college, with 80% leaving by the age of 29. With much of Christian youth’s pain points centered around apologetic issues, she knew that this was the key to saving Christian youth. K’Dia is pursuing a PhD at Liberty University in Apologetics & Eschatology., she is also a published Author, a Sunday School teacher at Westside Baptist Church in Jacksonville, FL, an Army Veteran, and most importantly a wife and mother to 3 children. Teaching believers how to defend their faith is a necessity in the body of Christ, as we look towards fulfilling the Great Commission. ”Restoring Order, Restoring Hope” by going forth into all the nations.
